Business Icon Queensland is searching for the state’s sharpest young minds. If you think that you are innovative, entrepreneurial, creative and a leader, then this is your competition. It’s time for you to Stand Out. Apply before May 30th.

Stand Out

Business ICON QLD 2008 is the premier professional business competition for young Queenslanders aged 18 to 25. The competition has been supported by leading private, public and not-for-profit organisations since its inception in 2006.

From July 16 to July 22, contestants are given complex business problems that test their creative thinking, business and leadership skills. The pressure will be on, and it is all about testing yourself, learning and networking. Show yourself, potential employers and industry professional that you “Stand Out”.

A panel of experienced businesspeople including Business ICON sponsors will judge the tasks.

The Time Is Right!

You don’t have to be a business student or young professional to enter. Many past applicants have been from engineering, IT and creative disciplines. Whatever your background, we encourage you to prove us that you “Stand Out”! The competition will test the 40 successful applicants, and one will be crowned the Business Icon Queensland 2008 winner, winning cash and prizes to the value of $5000. This is your competition, and this could be you. Applications close May 30!
